What can you expect for housing? There’s a lot to cover here, so I’ll give you the information first by typical style and construction, average prices and then general information by area.
Typical style of housing here is wood frame with a painted stucco exterior, slab (concrete) foundation with no basements. Generally the roofs are of Mexican style ceramic tile, however, in some areas composition shingle is the standard. When you email me, I will connect you with the local Multiple Listing Service and you will be able to see pictures and list prices for the different cities. In the 80’s and 90’s, the exterior paint colors were Navajo white or generally Navajo white!! Every neighborhood, it seemed, was showing a different shade of white. Now, the builders are getting a little more imaginative and the warm and darker desert colors are showing up on exteriors. It’s a refreshing sight!
